Hlubik Farms Corn Maze

I had the unique opportunity to design the 2022 layout of a two acre corn maze for Hlubik Farms, in Chesterfield, NJ. I closely collaborated with the client to ensure my computer based design was able to be executed and cut into the actual corn field successfully. This was the most complex and expansive maze design the farm exhibited to date. The majority of the maze design had to follow a grid system with straight lines to mimic how the corn field is planted. The overall maze pattern was designed to be fun and family friendly, with the most challenging part at the entrance, along with an easier, straightforward walking path at the end. The family name “Hlubik” was a required design element that I had to incorporate into the maze. The barn and silo design connect to the farm motif. The jack-o-lantern design pays homage to an annual farm event of a walk-thru pumpkin glow display containing hundreds of hand carved jack-o-lanterns. Additionally, I aided in editing and compiling drone photographs to create a full aerial image used for marketing purposes. Software Used: Illustrator & Photoshop
